I literally gave them every opportunity to help Cardinals fans be better posters on this board, yet all they could do was post amateurish stuff like "die" and "kill yourself" while at the same time proclaiming us to be awful people.

Think about that, bro.

They're telling us to kill ourselves and die in reaction to us asking for advice and we're the problem.

For shame.

Cards fans on this board are just fine for the most part. You are an obvious exception to that. Even they hate your message board persona.

You know, what I wouldn't mind is more baseball talk in general. A lot of the new Missouri posters come to talk Cardinal baseball which is fine but to turn every thread in a Cardinals thread is a bit much. Also realistic goals, seems none of the new Cardinal fans have realistic goals of the players/franchise so if someone post that they believe the Cards will finish 3rd Cardinal fans come to attack.

So there is a realistic answer, I enjoy talking baseball and I can discuss more teams and players than just those that play for the Yankees.

I appreciate that answer, Tduecen.

I too would like to discuss baseball in a "normal" discussion, but let's face it...Cardinal threads and fans are relentlessly targeted and flamed, so it would make sense that some Cardinal fans would give the MSB a taste of her own medicine.

Of course, MSB trolling is a one way street kind of like racism in America. All MSB problems are the result of a few Cardinal fans, which I believe is more an indictment of the people who allow themselves to be rustled versus the few of us who are just following the MSB's time tested game plan.

Let us be honest here, before the Missouri joined the SEC the Cardinals related threads were very minimal as we had more Yankee fans than Card. Since then Card fans have overtaken the MSB during baseball, now as I said I love baseball, but at some point it becomes too much.
Braves, Astros, and Cubs have always kept the homerism to their own season long thread, Cards fans have not and thus why people attack them in other related thread or when one makes a thread about a pitching change in a meaningless June game.

I used to love posting on the board during the season....now I stay away and then get called out by the new Cards fans when I do asking "where did you come from"

Is this serious? You havent played well with your, new to TD, fellow Cardinal fan brethren since I started posting around here. Seems like its more of you not being the special snowflake one of few token Cards fans then anything else because you spent an inordinate amount of time "marking" your territory when we were all new around here.

Or it was a "you" thing. You gave everyone new a hard time regardless.

Not really worth spending much more time talking about this, I just thought it was a little funny reading your victim play and opining considering the "warm" welcome you extended.

It is a crazy upside down world when being a Cards fan for over 3 decades makes that person a "new" Cards fan in the eyes of more honorable "old" Cards fans.

The bullshite is so thick in here I can barely navigate thru the thread.

I elevate every Card thread. Cardinals threads need more true fans to cheer for their team, something that is lacking by fans of lesser teams on this board.
