I'm thinking about getting one to make beef jerky. Recs, suggestions ideas are requested. Don't want to spend more than $75.

TIA

I have a Nesco FD-75PR, works great for me. I use it for jerky and dried fruit. Paid $60

I second this. I've had one for probably 8-9 years now and it still works just as it did the first time. I make jerky every year with deer. Only thing is it's a bitch to clean, but I would imagine that all dehydrators are. I like this model because a batch of jerky is done in 5-6 hours.

Jones has this one

It was $49 on Amazon. All we've done on it is dry out peppers to grind into a powder and make lots of beef jerky.

His jerky always comes out really good. Haven't had a problem with it at all.

I have the presto brand but with a digital thermostat. The temp can be adjusted to dry veggies, fruits, and meats at the right temp. On amazon for $70 with Prime
