What kind of mackerel is this?

Beautiful fish that I'm sure put up a fun fight. I've caught Spanish Mackerel before and really liked the taste despite being as fishy as it was.

First time I've heard of one.

I would have guessed a small Wahoo. I wonder how common they are in the Gulf.
