Rebounds = Possessions. Kind of an important aspect of the game. I get why people are frustrated by Asik, but he does have some value. And before you tell us that we can get anyone to rebound, that Denver game says otherwise. 0 offensive boards for the opposition with Asik in, 15 orebs for Denver with Ajinca in. I saw someone tweet that, so I don't know how many of those orebs turned into points, but that's potentially 10-20 points Ajinca gave up that Asik wouldn't have. An extreme game, but I think it illustrates how the value Asik brings is much harder to see than his horrible hands.

If I was the coach I wouldn't play him or anybody that gives him the ball unless he's wide open. It's literally that bad. He's that bad. I don't think there's another player in this league that is that bad on the offensive end given the minutes and touches

Nope. Just a fan who like to watch good basketball while I smash a 6 pack after class. But what I don't like is watching Asik. I don't like Asik feeling confident on the offensive end bc of how many touches this team gets him. Be the player you are, not a wanna be scoring center who can't even catch the ball in the first place let alone finish a MF contested shot without getting stripped, stuffed, or stuffed by the rim.

At one point it was 20. So at least 20 points.

Are you retarded? In no way does Asik try to force things on offense. He takes an incredibly limited amount of shots almost all on put backs or dishes.

What about it? What were asik's stats? What about Pondexter, Cole, and AJINCA??? What about Ajinca? I understand what Asik brings us, totally do, but what he doesn't bring us and how much he is paid is not worth it. That is my point. If he was a 4-5 mill
Guy a year with no stupid contract that pays him extra on the side I would say, ok that's a pretty solid contraxt. But he gets paid so much and his pissy attitude and mentality at the ends of the games when he's not in the games really gets to me.

Lol. When Asik gets an O rebound, 90% of the time he throws up a brick. Get the board and pass the ball. That's what's best for the team. If you think Asik should just throw up a contested shot after a rebound over getting the ball to 14 of the other players on the roster your an idiot. Period.

What pissy attitude has he shown lately?

He averaged 11.0 PPG with 11.8 rebounds on 69% FG during that stretch.

Oh commonnnnnnn. Somebody help me here. His facial expressions and body language aka shrugging shoulders and not getting into it when he's playing show it all. Same issues in Houston.

Look, he does look sluggish and lazy most of the time. He pisses me off because of that. But there is no question that with him on the court our defensive presence is elevated.
