Join the Smithsonian, and comic book industry legend Stan Lee, to explore the history of the comic book and the rise of superheroes.
The ancient gods of Egyptian, Greek and Roman myths still exist, but today, they have superpowers, human foibles and secret identities. They come from comic books and graphic novels, and have taken over pop culture on the stage, screen, video games, and animation.
From Superman® and Spiderman®, to The Avengers® and The Hulk® and beyond, who are these heroes? And, how have they evolved from folklore and myth, across all cultures and religions?
I seriously might have to check this out. You can audit the course for free or if you want to get a verified certificate you can pay $50.
Starts May 2015

Every interview/dvd special feature extra he's been featured in. Guy is one of the biggest tools I've ever heard.
Also he to this day takes waaaaayy to much credit for the creation of many of Marvel's best work. He basically just spat out rough ideas and his partner Jack Kirby developed stories, drew everything, and wrote much, if not most, of the stories.

Hmm 1st I've heard of this, seems pretty cool to me. I'm glad he is still alive to see a lot of this happening with Marvel's characters.

I take it you're related to Jack Kirby.
