What has JaMarcus done that would give any indication that he will be serving time "soon"?

He spent it all on his codeine addiction. Heck he might have eaten some of it.

Hollywood,

Let me rephrase. The word "soon" may have been the wrong choice of words. My view is that Russell is still young, 31 or 32, and his career is over. Reports are that he is nearly broke and has already been arrested on drug charges (sip-sip). Those seems to be indications that maybe he is surrounding himself with the wrong people and that could end leading to more bad decisions down the road.

He's the #1 all-time bust and nobody else is close.

This gets brought up in every JR thread. The only reason he's considered so is because of the money he got. But he only got the money that was coming to him as the #1 pick + being a QB.

And that story isn't all that great. I agree that the list of people taken after Russell is good, but not many were considered #1 overall picks at the time. And probably half of them would have busted out on the Raiders as well.

Had the money back then been as capped as it is now for rookies, would he still be the #1 bust of all times? Look at how many Heisman trophy winners were QBs and what they did at the next level. The state of Fla probably has the highest Heisman/to NFL/to crap ratio. Danny Worse-ful, Gino Tore-rets, Timmy Tebow are a few.

JR is a bust because he had the talent but was lazy as sheet after he got paid! Plus he was drafted by the Raiders! Put him behind a starter for a few years, give him a coach that would put foot to azz and he may have been something. REGARDLESS, he was a great Tiger QB!!

Link? I'm aware of the foreclosure on his house in California, but that was the norm in California at the time and was more of strategic foreclosure than anything.

Grad jury decided there was not sufficient evidence to move forward with the case.

So have a lot of people that aren't "about to go to jail".

He said "reports are he is going broke", when in fact, last "report" I heard he was just the opposite. He's never had issues with wasting his money, but rather in not putting in enough work to be successful.

No.

Unless refuting bullshite intended to shite on a former LSU player makes me a spokesperson.

See here is your fricking problem... All we asked was how did you know he is not broke... I don't think you really know], But anytime someone says something that may be negative about an LSU player, You get all pussified and defensive.... Grow the frick up.........
