ingram was given the opportunity and he did well, thus he earned his pay day. If not for injuries at RB is ingram in line for a $5M contract? Let me answer that for you...nope.
it's not to say anything bad about payton either. we're just not a running team and he's on record as being the #1 super fan of the RBBC

Nothing against Ingram but our offense is more suited for a primary back to be a dual threat guy like Bush, Sproles, and PT with a secondary bruiser type back Ingram, Ivory, Robinson, Bell, etc.
