If it's too hot or deep dish, yes. A regular slice at a tolerable temp should be enjoyed with the 2 forks God gave you.

I do it so that I don't scorch and melt the roof of my mouth.

I rarely eat pizza, but if its too hot and/or sloppy, I always eat it with a fork and a knife.

I use a knife and fork most of the time, especially if it's hot as shite. I don't want the cheese falling off and burning my handsome face.

sounds ok if you are in the 9-5 lunch crowd and wearing office clothes or on a date with someone you barely know.
according to Facebook post I saw yesterday, 2/3rd of the products sold as extra virgin olive oil are not so. Saw the report yesterday.
I actually went off olive oil a few years ago as it tasted crummy to me. Now that I read that half of it is not as advertised, I feel somehow exonerated of the crime of not eating my veggies, something like that.
simultaneously it was reported the ACTUAL extra virgin olive oil contains something that keeps nerves from letting the person be an alzheimer person and also stops SOME KINDS of cancer cells, it blow up the cells in some way. not any old oil though.
So.. good news, extra virgin is worth it. bad news, people are using counterfeit low cost oil and selling it as premium product.

I do it all the time. I don't like burning the top of my mouth then not being able to taste anything for a week. I also don't like pulling away all of the topping at once as it slides off and slaps my chin hence burning my face.

Just curious why it's an issue to him. Perhaps he has a valid reason and I just wanted to give him an opportunity to explain the reasoning behind his interest in how other people eat their food.
