With that budget, look for a house. Lake Beau Pre is really close to campus and most houses are around $1500/mo.

They are about to open up a sterling on burbank behind southgate with rooftop pool and lazy river and stuff. Should be sweet. The newest place is usually the coolest place.

I have a studio apt behind my house in GD that all expenses goes for about $700.

try "The Bottoms", btw LSU and Downtown. Lotsa stuff for rent.

if you want to go the house route, do not move to a fricking food desert. Plenty of house around south downs and GD that lease for that much for 3/4 bed rooms

$650/month per person for 4 people will get you a pretty nice place. I would definitely go with some place in the East Boyd area. Heck, you could probably get a decent rent house near the lakes for that price.

Christ in a Easter egg basket. A 4 room apartment here is at least $1,100 per room.
