So, ya'll really think they are going to waste more time on this election?
I don't think so.
I think the major play of the final season is going to be Frank pulling an FDR(he had a strong presence in this season) and manipulating for a third term.

I don't see how they could skip it

They wasted an entire season on Iowa.
They could cover it with an opening scene of him being inaugurated, and a classic 4th wall break of Frank saying something like
"You didn't actually think I'd allow something as trivial as electoral democracy to determine the outcome of my plans, did you?"
and we're off on new storylines
ETA: if any showrunners are reading this, I'm available

4 is the last season, no?
Posted on 3/5/15 at 9:28 am to DirtyMikeandtheBoys
People thought season 3 was gonna be the last season

So yeah, my only reasoning behind not wanting more election stuff is if this will be the last season. If there's going to be more then by all means hash it out.
If 4 is the last then I really hope they don't spend half the fricking last season on the same story line as season 3.

Walker fired her, where would she be at in the story after that?

The only way I see this going good for FU is having Claire killed. Voters will rally around him. She needs to go, ruining the show. I can't stand looking at her on the screen

She got to die by the hands of Meecham.
VP isn't enough it's got to be equal. There is only one solution.
