Make sure to keep alcohol in solo cups. Apparently there was a alcohol driven riot a couple years ago and they passed an alcohol ban on the beach. Just be smart and you should be alright. I had no problem drinking Yeungling on the beach.

One last thing. If you stay at Isle of Palms. Drive up to Mclellenville and go to Buckshots. Itssss goooood.

Great town to visit ... Very much a sense of southern history there. Low country food is good too.

Unless they´ve created a beach out of nothing (I haven´t been in 25 years or so), Absolutely not.
