Hello Recruiting Board!

The LSU Women's Lacrosse Team is in need of recruiting assistance. We understand many may not know that we even exist on campus, which is why we are here in an attempt to grow.

For the last 4 Spring seasons in a row we have been competing in the Women's Collage Lacrosse Association (WCLA) in the Texas Women's Lacrosse League (TWLL) Conference. We have posted 2 consecutive winning seasons & are working on our 3rd this season. In our time on campus, our roster has fluctuated between 14 to as many as 27 players. At this time, we currently hold a 20 player roster, in which almost half will be graduated/out of eligibility after the 2016 season.

With this in mind, we are initiating a strong push in recruiting now in an effort to strengthen our program in the short & long runs. Since we know that TD has a nationwide reach & love of all things LSU, we are hoping its members can assist us with getting the word our program out to anyone/everyone you all may know in the lacrosse community.

Anyone with a daughter, grand-daughter, niece, cousin, sister, neighbor, friend that plays HS girls lacrosse &/or is a HS athlete interested in playing the game at the college club level is invited to reach out to our program any of the following ways:

Email lsuwomenslacrosse@gmail.com
LSU Women's Larcrosse Club Facebook Page
LSU WLAX Twitter
LSU WLAX Instagram
WCLA Team Page (Schedule, Roster, Stats, News, Etc)

We are more than happy to facilitate a campus visit that includes a team practice or game weekend. Our coaches & players are more than happy to discuss our great university & program with any interested party.

We thank you TD for your help in growing our program here at LSU.

Bump.

Anyone up north (I think lacrosse is big there) have a local coach they can approach about this opportunity? I am sure there are some young ladies that would like a chance to play at the next level.

At this time, out of state tuition is not waived.

We are working with the admissions office in an attempt to create a situation that would allow for such a waiver.

However, we can get potential student athletes in touch with the right people in an effort to have their applicatons submitted for review for financial aid/scholarship.

Getting OOS tuition waived would probably be a big boost. Honestly, though, we wont thrive until we have scholarships to offer.

I'd really like to see a men's soccer team and LAX teams.

We are not subject to NCAA sanctions as it regards to recruiting. We can talk to anyone at anytime.

So, please spread the word without worry.
