since tee choupique is following in his old man's footsteps of not really playing sports, I think he will be into atv riding. My great uncle lets me use his artic cat 90 on the weekends and I am about to pull the trigger on a youth bike for my little one. We do live in the suburbs of baton rouge. is there any trails and or tracks in the area where he could ride?

I think at one point in time Tower Trax had a small kids only loop trail but I don't think it was very much. Not sure if it's even open anymore but the spillway was always fun to goof off on.

Bonnet Carre Spillway, Silver Springs CG in Mississippi, or Wild Azalea trail in North Louisiana.

thanks for the information. My family has a few acres north of here where he can tear it up and have no worries.

Really no where good to legally ride around here. Basically why I quit riding years ago. My 4wheeler has been sitting up in my garage since I bought my house in 09. I swear I'm gonna sell it every year.

Take him to forest Hill sand dunes when he gets a little older and a bigger bike. I used to love going there when I was younger.

Anyone want to buy a 05 Honda 450r lol. It's in top notch condition.

Closed, and have been for going on 2 years now. Apparently a reopening is in the works...but it's been in the works for almost a year. Not really holding my breath.

Damn, that sucks. Didn't the owner or something change a while back? I remember something happening, but can't remember exactly what it was. Maybe they closed down for a while, then opened back up? shite, I can't remember.

Hell, I think I still have one of those flags in my dad's garage.

Excuse the late reply.

The older guy who ran it decided to let the lease go, I don't recall the exact reason but it was either due to his or his wife's health. They were both fairly old. It was to be shut down then next thing you know another guy came along and picked up the lease. The new guy dumbed a TON of money into the place, leveled it off, kept a dozer on site to keep the place smooth, bought a light tree to hold drag events, etc etc. From what I gather he was barely breaking even and the property owners upped the lease rate so he bowed up. It's been closed over a year now. There's been several rumors of what's going to happen to it now. From it's being sold to a sand/gravel contractor, to the property owners now plan to open it on their own. Apparently the plans are to reopen, and the word for the last 12 months has been not if, but when. I'd love to see it reopen though.
