I don't know why people think this. There are just as many examples of a committed guy getting a big bump up.

Also, getting "bumped down" isn't necessarily bad if it's just cause another guy is getting moved up.

Is ridiculous the amount of talent in Louisiana lately.. I mean holy .... It's a shame there is so much talent that some of these kids will go elsewhere and become future nfl players.. Just the way it goes I guess but what a great problem to have

jones is way too low. Patterson is where he is because of a view that he has topped out. no more upside to him. allen has excellent size/frame but he looks too high to me. great prospect but he could trade places with sp.

247 as as a sight hasn't ever been as sold on Shea as some of the other sights.

Ohh yeah 247 hasn't been high on Patterson at all. There about the only list I've seen he isn't #1 or #2 on. I still don't believe there are what 11 other guys better than Devin white.

An the only reason I say that is cause over the years I've seen 247 rank a recruit by how sought after he is and as soon as he commits they move him down. Patterson was #2 just weeks ago on this list and he commits and drops 4 spots? He or anyone else hasn't played a game, camped, nothing for him to drop a spot so why? Cause he commited. I've seen it happen again and again on 247. Specially when guys commit to LSU lol

It's called publicity. Watch Gregory Little go down in the rankings because he is already committed. The site won't get good pub if the #1 player in the nation is already committed.
