No reveal on the wolves yet.

Just a lot of references to them.

You missed my earlier post where I said I now thought the boy said "a few months", but that was when I was watching it this morning on the computer. Last night when I thought it was 8 months, I had watched it on TV with subtitles...so maybe the subtitles read eight and that's where I got it from.

I feel maybe about 95% that it's "a few," but I need to watch it (or someone needs to do it and report back) on my DVR and put subtitles on and see what he says.

Like someone said, it could be nothing, or it could be pretty important.

I hope Enid is not some sort of sleeper agent for the Wolves. Problem with that is it would have taken her about 3 days to figure out those people are soft and that security is lax. The Wolves wouldn't have to knock any of the walls down, just scale the unguarded fences at night, go to the houses of any leaders/threats Enid identifies and slit their throats. Come morning be standing in the town square, fully armed, and lay down the law, or make more zombie torsos out of the rest of the community.

Plus I'm sure that word got around about the town recruiting a well armed group. Why wait until the invasion gets much more difficult? If they wanted the group's weapons, they could have ambushed them by opening the gate behind cover with guns blazing.

I doubt they would have told Enid about the plans to bring a swat force into the community. I am almost convinced after further thought that everything we have seen from the community so far is part of the audition we heard Aaron speak of. I think they are trying to depict themselves as soft in an attempt to see if Rick and crew will try to kill off a few members and take control. The 2 runners were way to non-chalant to have been the best at that job. They would be dead within days on the outside. I think the wolves are trying to take over, but it's against a much more formidable force then we are considering, hence the time Enid has been there.

If we're getting into conspiracy theories, what if Alexandria is Wolves HQ? They said that they've cleared a 50 mile perimeter around the town. Anyone remember what town Noah's family was in?

Aaron said they were 100 miles from Alexandria when he introduced himself to the group and they had already been traveling away from Noah's home before that. I doubt Alexandria had anything to do with that.

Besides, the Alexandrians seem far too insulated from the apocalypse to have been able to overthrow a community.

What if Deana and the townsfolk are the wolves?

Maybe the 3 she banished started up the Wolves. I don't remember her saying when that happened.

I believe the only thing we know is from a few graffiti tags, carved W's in heads and the zombie torso bus.

That's what I'm saying. What if they all take turns, with a chunk of them invading, stealing from, and killing anyone they find while the rest get to enjoy "shore leave" in the town. When that group returns, it's time for the others to go on the road. Between Noah's place and where the dude couple recruited them, they could have seen that Rick's group was hardcore and would make good additions.

Do we really need to know more to draw conclusions?

But I don't think it far fetched that the community could be somewhat playing Rick's group. I always thought it an odd choice of word for Aaron to use "Audition" when telling Rick what would take place inside the town. If the video conference was it, why not just say after you each talk to our leader? I think the initiation involves observing you on the outside and then testing you on the inside. They have lived in the enchanted freaking forest for years while the ZA has occurred, I don't think they would have kept it without some usefull skills.

Really don't think they are the wolves either. I do think the 3 exiled members are though and they are a big part of why Rick's crew was brought in. I think the additional tests are to make sure that they don't turn on them when the shite hits the fan.

something was also mentioned on the radio broadcast tyreese hallucination but I cant find a quote of it.

the graffiti said "wolves not far"

a "W" has been carved in the walkers and walker torsos they found.

the back of the comic Carl found (which was the girls, Enid's? interesting enough) said "Wolf Fight"

the pack of wolf-like dogs that came out of nowhere and attacked them and ended up getting shot and eaten.

holy crap... I was reading trying to find images about the wolves and found this:

The Wolves are Rick's Group (speculation)

And with Carol saying "The Den Mother" it came full circle..

Very interesting indeed.

In Depth Speculation

There's pretty much no way Rick and company are the wolves. I get the speculation and whatnot, but that would not only be stupid, but pretty impossible too.

Oh yeah...need to go check the DVR for subtitles.....
