Crappie fishing in a creek.(canoe)
Honestly don't know which is a better live bait.
Bait store is no help. (has both)

Tuffy minnow is a lot easier to keep alive and a whole lot cheaper for crappie.

It is a fathead minnow. Some people call them tuffys because they are so damn tough to kill.

I was thinking the same for Canoe creek.
I seem to think shiners for a big lake though.. (Logan Martin or Neely) Again, thank you.

Tuffy's are definitely smaller.
I hook em through the lips.
Going out in the morning before the sun comes up. Just called the gas station/bait and he said he would be open all night.

I guess we don't have tuffys here in Louisiana, but I'm loading up on sac a lait tonight using shiners.
