With so much in-state talent available on the defensive line, many will question the need or desire to go out of state. However, a talent like Oliver is just too good to pass up. He is a phenomenal athlete for his size and LSU has been his leader for quite some time. Expect LSU to be a frequent visit destination for Oliver this spring and summer.

I wonder if Jimmy knows something in particular or is just sticking with the home state right now. I haven't seen anything to suggest that A&M or Texas are actually leading for him at this point.

I'd be willing to bet he just forgot. In no way has any other team even come close to sniffing where we stand with Oliver. And hell, Oliver was helping recruit Weathersby for us

I think we get Oliver too. Stephan Taylor at 6'6" 270 may project as an OT eventially. This should be the best DL haul ever.

If we lose Oliver that will be all LSU's fault, damn the kid wore LSU on his helmet at a Texas highschool football game!!

We should really be focusing on getting 2-3 DE's who can get after the passer. We'll be fine at DT with all these elite guys wanting to come here

My wish list would be..

DT-Alexander, Lawrence, Oliver(3-tech)
DE(3-4)-Taylor, Logan
WDE-M.Roach
SDE-C.Roddy

Obviously like the IMG guys Manuel and R.Smith, like Smith at LB.
