Anyone else tired of the "breaks" show take?

I have gotten to the point where I almost prefer watching a show after the season is done. I record the shows I watch to skip the commercials but damn let's take a christmas, state of the union, super bowl, spring break, NCAA toruney, and national dog break.
I understand the reasoning behind it, but I am tired of trying to remember the story line after all the breaks. Maybe I just watch too many shows.

I'm just thankful there is still quality television to be watched. Because there is A LOT of crap out there.
