I know we got some ole' burnouts like myself. I would to find the video of this song. I have looked up and down youtube and just can't find it.

- Mid 80's
- Believe from the New Wave era
- Don't believe from America
- Colorful video, believe with a 'space' theme outer space
- I want to say the band was something like XoXo but I'm not sure. I have not found anything by that name.
- It's like 3 or 4 guys singing.
- Lyrics are either "Dance all night" or something similar.

Safety Dance meets some of the criteria and is a cool song

I'm familiar with ole' Ivan from Safety Dance. It's not MWH. Thanks for trying though.

Shutterspeed. No, not The Cars. This band was not a popular band.

In that case... how about a few more hints? Upbeat? Downbeat? More poppish or rockish? Synths?

Anything else you can think of...

Shutterspeed - yes, synths and strong vocals. They were a cheesy version of OMD. And not as popular. I just remember the band having these letters in some arrangement. xox

They had a couple of popular songs during the MTV video days. Their videos were more popular than the songs. "Dance all Night" was in one of the songs. circa 83'.

Shutterspeed... OXO was the shite back in the day. You never heard of them?

Here is the popular song. Whirly Girl

OXO - Whirly Girl

wow, and it's got 111,000 views. See, I'm not the only loser that listened to them.

I'm amazed by a couple of things:

1. That I've actually never heard of this band or any of their songs before.

2. And that as much shite as I know that I listen to, this tops it all.

Yea,,,,....I'm still trying to figure out the OP s song he is looking for.......or was that one of the shitty songs posted? I really don't want to delve into that caldron. I'll go listen to Rumors instead.

I think we could all use a little more OXO in our lives. Dance All Night was actually a good song, but it was the video that made it better. MTV played them a bunch around 2:00am.

But I can't find the video anywhere.
