Spider-Man In Avengers Age of Ultron?

BREAK KEYBOARD HERE

According to speculation from various websites, the poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron (which was released on Tuesday) reveals that Danny Elfman has provided “extra music” for the film. Now the speculation goes that Danny Elfman provided music for Ang Lee’s Hulk back in 2003, but more famously wrote the score for Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 for Sony. Could this mean he has been hired to bring back his Spider-Man score for Avengers: Age of Ultron?

Wouldn't shock me for a post-credits scene, but I doubt he makes a major appearance.

Either post credits scene or a quick Easter egg mention of him

I'm thinking the post-credits scene will be something like a robber running away from the cops. He runs into something that stops him in his tracks. The camera pulls back to reveal he's been caught in a giant web while Elfman's score plays in the background.
Fanboy orgasms everywhere.

Am I the only one that's just not that excited about Spiderman in the MCU?
I feel like the restraints on which characters could be used forced more creativity from the studio and this is just a move towards more mainstream and less lower level characters.
Which means, unless she shows up on Netflix, we're less likely to get Squirrel Girl, I will not abide that!

Just post-credits.
Would be pretty cool if they reveal who they cast in the post-credits though

The only SpiderMan cameo I'd be interested in would be a guest appearance in the X Men where he tools on the whole lot of them like he did in the Secret Wars

Nope I agree. I think he has the potential to do more harm than good for the Universe.
However, he can also make it extra awesome. I have no idea what to think, but as a realist I just feel like it's too many big characters now.
