Interesting article from the advocate on the old Entergy Building on government street. They are planning on renovating it into a mixed use development designed by the same planner who designed River Ranch in Lafayette. They will be unveiling the plans at a meeting at Shiloh Baptist Church on Monday night.

One small problem, they don't have the money. The redevelopment authority is broke financially and in the leadership dept. Fwiw I didn't read the article but know the story, people involved etc.
