I love getting instate guys as much as the next Louisiana native but imagine the past decade or so without

Patrick Peterson
Kevin Minter
Damn near every QB that was good.
Ridley
Ware
Wing
Byrd
Francois
Adams
Mills
Collins
Montgomery
Lacouture
Hunter
Lafell
Brooks
Riley

I could go on and on

Stop looking all over the place!!

God you're stupid. You act like it's all LSUs fault that every instate kid doesn't get an offer or doesn't want to play here. Some of them quite frankly aren't good enough and others just "don't have the chest". I'm happy with players who want to come here and bust their arse for the P&G.

You have to have an intense love for LSU also.
If I were a marginal 3/4* recruit that LSU did not offer, I'd either greyshirt or walk-on at LSU. There's a chance I could earn a scholarship later.

In fact I think I'd walk-on even if LSU DID offer me, just to give LSU another scholarship to offer. Of course my blood is Royal Purple and my veins are Old Gold, but....

I may be in the minority in that thinking, but there have been some recruits that have done that.....

Yes we should wait on the Joe Knights, Speedy Noils, Gerald Willis', and Landon Collins of our state while letting elite talent look elsewhere .

Stick to the other boards...

Think before you post. The top kids in La. have been holding their commitments until NSD... which leaves LSU exposed. I've heard several cases where our coaches had a "silent" from an La. kid who ultimate snubbed us in the end.

It cuts both ways. The top La. kids better take notice when the #1 CB commits to LSU 10 months early. I can see some really good La kids getting left behind in this recruiting cycle. If they had an offer from LSU but chose to "enjoy the process", that's on them.

Doesn't matter where they are from, can they play and do they bleed purple and gold is all that should matter, not where a kid grew up.

You guys are taking this the wrong way. Yes, OOS guys have been very good to LSU. Not saying that I don't want OOS kids. I am just saying that Louisiana has its best crop of prospects ever in the next 2 classes for sure. And we need to focus on home first...that's all I am saying!

I know we cant get ever IN-STATE guy, but seeing all of these OOS offers could come back to hurt us with our own kids. If the state wasn't so loaded, I wouldn't ever post this.

There are about 20-25 kids from Louisiana in 2016 and 2017 that will play on Sundays.

I have been looking at this recruiting thing for over 20 years and I have seen many recruiting classes. 2016 by far is the best ever in LA.

Louisiana is very, very deep with potential pros!

We need to really take a look at this in-state thing. If you knew how to evaluate prospects. You wouldn't say that I am stupid!

If we don't take care of home in 2016 and 2017. We will see who is stupid! For all of you that called me stupid. Time will tell how stupid I am.

Don't take care of home...Jody will have your girl and gone!

Basic stuff!! KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid )
