I believe so. I get the impression Origins isn't being recognized by Rocksteady when making this. That's without any facts to back it up though. Just the feeling I get from it all.

I'm not sure if it's them not acknowledging it, it's just that Origins is a prequel. Launching from City makes sense.

They've pretty much said they don't acknowledge it. They said at some conference that Arkham Knight will be the final installment of the "trilogy"

yes it is, it's a total 180 from asylum even though he looks almost exactly the same
he has a much more deliberate and brooding tone...this game is going to be so epic
