I'm sure in a few years he'll stop using that treehouse in place of a smaller one.

The branches just won't be as big as they used to be. And don't even get me started on the leaves.

Todd sure upgraded...we lived in same apartment building on State St. next to original Raising Cane's when he was in start-up of the 1st location. Rent was all of $200.00 a month.

Hell of a nice guy...glad his hardwork paid off.

They spent over $400K building this thing, and most of the time from the contractors was donated. It is pretty damn amazing!

I believe that they did spend around $400k-

I don't believe any contractors donated their time-

How much free labor can possibly be involved in a $400k treehouse budget?

Why would they donate to this thing that will never be used

Donate time and money to build a house for a homeless vet

Why give rich dude free 400 grand tree house?

For the advertising... Same reason suppliers give awesome discounts to new home buyers that are buildings houses with the intention of listing them in the Parade of Homes.

That's the cost of getting to be on HGTV. The same local construction company that built the treehouse is working on my outdoor kitchen. They all complained about the free time they spent over there because it ended up being a lot more than they originally intended.
