And yet her ppv numbers aren't even in the same league.

Lesnar/Mir II - 1.6 million
Lesnar/Carwin - 1 million
Lesnar/Velasquez - 900,000

Do you think it's maybe because Lesnar already had a massive massive following?

He dominated everyone in PPV's for that reason.

I'm sure it did, but he also dominated ppv's because he was a heavyweight that everyone wanted to see. Lesnar's best number is 3x Rousey's. Jones/Cormier did 820k buys, Rousey/McMann managed 350k. Rousey is a huge star but her ability to bring in ppv numbers is not on par with other top UFC stars. It's looking like her next matchup will be Jessica Eye or Bethe Correia. People aren't paying to watch that as a main event.

Dude of course UFC 100 on the 4th of July and Jones/Cormier on New Years with a stacked card will do more than Rousey/McMann in late February with a guy that was working at Starbucks the week before as co-main.

UFC 100 was definitely stacked, but every Lesnar card afterwards did huge numbers regardless. The Jones/Cormier card was far from stacked, Cerrone and Miles Jury was the co main event of that card.

I just don't think Rousey can carry a ppv and I don't think it's reasonable to keep asking UFC fans to pay $60 to watch her armbar someone in less than a minute.

Cyborg instagrammed this picture today. Don't know if she is saying she can't make 135, or that it just would be extremely difficult for her to.

exactly. Cyborg is a beast. No wonder why she gave up on making 135.

Gotta feature a solid fight to get viewers into the prelims.

WTF on Watson? I know that there are plenty of people who could probably get stuff done for the UFC like he did, but he seemed to be very helpful in their operations around fight time.
