Bad thing about deep frying versus the iron skillet is that you won't be able to make as good a milk gravy to go over the mashed potatoes that are the required side dish with CFS. And I've floured and dropped, but leaving them sit in the fridge makes a significant difference in the batter sticking IMO. Obviously restaurants don't have that luxury. That is, the ones that aren't dropping the pre-breaded Sysco version.

My mistaKe. Egg wash happened both times.

I deep fried my steaks in an electric fryer because I didn't need to make a gravy from the meat since I was doing pork/deer gravy.

no big deal. just trying to be sure before i try it.

went into the fried chicken experiment with a question and came out with near burned chicken.
