I'm seeding my back yard. My front and sides are sodded by my builder and I'm simply not gonna spend the money to sod my back yard when it's just 40 * 60 ft.

What grass seed will take the easiest?

I would think Bermuda would be one of your options.

A hybrid. A cross between Kentucky bluegrass, featherbed bent, and northern California sinsemilla. The amazing stuff about it is that you can play 36 holes on it in the afternoon take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt at night on the stuff.

Gotta laugh, that's 1/2 of most lots in Uptown.

have you considered sprigging or plugging some st augustine?...water it well and it would cover that area easily in a summer...

St. Augustine chokes out everything. I have bermuda and it's prettier but a lot more maintenance.

Put down no seed and I bet you have Bermuda coming in in no time.

Exactly how I got bermuda. After we built and leveled yard I had a lot come up so have just been hitting it with MSMA every now and then.

And yes, they still make and you can still buy MSMA.

That is only about 5 pallets, would only be A few hundred dollars and could knock it out in no time

Isn't desireable by any means but the easiest to grow by a mile is Bahaia. Stuff can grow anywhere and once it starts you can't get rid of it!

Ain't that the truth. It'll grow on a hungry hill.

There is a chemical that will get rid of it pretty good if you ever need. It's called Ally.
