why is this so common?
because they get bumped and then travel in planes?
does not explain the 52 yr old.

It's not common at all, actually.

It stinks for Miami, but I'm glad they found it. Sports is one thing, but I'm just glad he survived.

Man I was super excited of the prospect of him in the pick and pop game with Dragic. They would have been a nightmare to deal with down the stretch.

Glad they caught it and hopefully he is back to 100% next season.

If you go back to the Chris Bosh to Houston thread, I bet you can find a quote of me complaining that the Rockets never catch the breaks.

I love Chris Bosh. I hope he recovers. Everyone always gives Ray Allen credit for the Game 6 three, but the only reason he got to shoot it was because Bosh pulled down the offensive board.

Not everything is about the Rockets.

Happened to eighties Auburn BBaller John Caylor too. LINK

Maybe it's more common than we realize and goes undiagnosed in ordinary people. Athletes performing at high level notice symptoms, so it gets detected in them. Just a theory.

Yeah. What a reach by me... He wasn't super close to coming to Houston. I just made that up to talk about the Rockets.

Do you think the Heat knew before Bosh announced this that he was likely done for the year? Not close to as important as Bosh's health, but one of those dealings where it may not have been 100% up front

It's one of the most commonly missed diagnoses in ERs.

I gave bosh a lot of shite for willing to be a third wheel in miami but he seems like a decent dude and doesn't deserve this off the court.
