as it seems, shockingly, that none of these Feyenoord "fans" were stabbed yesterday.

If a few can scrape together enough for a trip to Rotterdam I expect Roma will be out of Europa League win or lose.

I suppose the riot police did get to them first and they're probably worse than the ultras.

Still, you would still expect a bit better effort after they broke chunks off the Bernini fountain with bricks but that's the story of our season. . .

These dudes have set Ajax supporters clubhouse's on fire multiple times

They don't give a frick even if it's Roma ultras

I didn't watch the match but I can imagine the insane amount of flails lit.

The return leg will be fireworks

Italy and Holland could meet in a lucrative friendly in order to pay for the costs of the £2million-worth of damage caused by the Feyenoord fans' rampage in Rome last week.

Ahead of their Europa League first-leg meeting with Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday, a large group of Feyenoord's 6,000 travelling fans clashed with riot police close to the Spanish Steps tourist attraction, leaving a trail of disruption in the downtown area of Rome.

City mayor Ignazio Marino said that Rome had been 'devastated and hurt' by the violent scenes and demanded that repairs were paid for by the Dutch, including for the permanent damage to the famous Barcaccia fountain at the foot of the Spanish Steps.

Rumors are Strootmans injuries are very serious and could be career ending. If so that sucks so bad, he was really really good but never got the chance to show it to world.
