Looking for a good place, not outrageously priced with good knowledge, to hook up my Sub and Amp to my truck? I have all my equipment just need someone to hook it up. Thanks

Edit: Well this didnt go well. So far according to this thread, Im trash because i want better sound in my truck and a little more bass. I dont care if you dont appreciate music as much as i do dont give me your high horse non sense.

my truck came with a JBL system. 10 speakers, a moderate sub, and an amp to power the speakers and sub. i installed a nav screen which connects my phone via Bluetooth.

music sounds perfect and I don't need to rattle my license plate like a high schooler.

Bought it from some guy in a panel van at a gas station. Said he had some extra that his supplier accidentally sent him. Got a great deal, so I took it to Home Depot on Coursey and found an expert that just happened to be hanging out in the parking lot. Something's not sounding right though. Maybe I didn't set my eq right, ya think?

Lots of haters in here. Nothing wrong with a little car audio.

I replaced my door speakers and put a single 10" sub in my truck. It doesn't bother anyone around me or rattle my license plate. It's just enough to make my music sound good and not like I'm listening to it through a toilet paper roll.

Unless you get a vehicle with an upgraded audio system, most factory door speakers are absolute junk. Like $20 a pair junk. Some of them you can't even hear your music with the windows down.

Make sure you get some neon lights installed under your S-10 too.

what you did was basically the same as what the upgraded speaker systems are.

the people hating in this thread are talking about losers with two 20s where all you can hear is bass.

No shite. An what about poor fricks like me who drive an 07 sedan? I need something with some audio input and wouldn't mind upgrading my 8 yr old speakers. Nothing wrong with upgrading audio. These tards are spoiled and pay 3500 for an audio package that Davids could have done better for 1000.

They are still on the extreme low end, although a tad better than normal factory setups and will be decent enough for most people.

Ford's system with Sony is some of Sonys lowest end stuff. I could fart louder than that "upgraded sub" they put in their vehicles. Same goes with Chevy and Bose. I'm sure most other "upgraded systems" are the same, but those are the only ones I have experience with.

No shite. Going through audio websites and getting some decent door speakers for $150 a pair will put you head and shoulders above upgraded factory speakers in most cases. Then add a small amp or eq and it's alot better sound for 1/3 the cost of the package.

mine are pretty solid. the bass is just enough, then I have one tweeter on each door. then one 6x9 on each door, and two more tweeters on the dash in the middle.

perfect for me.

Last time i upgraded my audio was years ago. But all I did is go to Crutchfield for pioneer speakers. Got 2 4" for door and 2 6x9 for rear and got a free amp from a wrecked car. Paid 50 or so to Davids to wire it up good. Was impressive. Not like a crank it up trunk rattler or nothing, but easily showed up a guy at a tailgate who insisted we play the 'mix cd' in his new Expedition with the sub and 10 speakers.
