Listning to 104.5 yesterday evening and they were saying that Nicks has been working out and would like to make an attempt at a comeback. I would definatley be down with this If he is healthy and he would probably come at a affordable price. What do you guys think?

Staph is no joke. It's a shame how things worked out for him in Tampa Bay.

Nicks was an absolute monster when he was here. If hes healthy and good to go I'm in favor of anything that can help the interior o line.

Tell Grubbs peace and plug him back in. Probably 1/5th of the price too

I'd love to give him a shot, I just don't know that we can rely on him to start. If his asking price is low, I'd like to see him sign him, and still draft another Guard in the 1st 3 rounds.

To be honest, it's a really long-shot for him to return in the NFL. Having an MRSA infection in one foot, depending how bad it is (judging on what I've heard it was pretty bad) you can be off your feet for a longer period than a major ligament tear. If he is working out to get back to that point physically, it will be one intense off-season for him. Who doesn't like a comeback story? But the sheer reality of these types of situations almost always win out in the end.

Probably the biggest loss for this team since '09. A semi in shape nicks would be f'ing nice. We need some more attitude on this oline. Dare I say "swagger"

When he left was his contract voided or do the Bucs still own his rights?

I don't know. I thought he got an injury settlement from the Bucs and was released, but I'm not positive.
