Would trade down a bit to get him but that can change after combine.
I think most around here would love to have him.

I think I want him. He is the next great lineman I think.

Even with my Purple Glasses on.

Not unless he played some C in highschool.
He would be a really good RT/LT/Guard for sure.

I guess you could draft him and try him out at C? Idk he will be very hard to pass on in the first round, knowing that we need an O Lineman. And I think we are in a prime spot to get him

I disagree.....It was last year with Goodwin at C and pretty bad play on each side at guard positions....If we put Lelito in at C, draft La'el and plug him at either G (and also providing depth at LT) and see we can pick up Lupati to play the other G or Wisnewski to plug in at C and put Lelito in at G and we are instantly upgraded from what we were last year

While true, I don't think draft Collins, or any other player, would keep the Saints from having a shot at the top C in the draft w/ their 2nd round pick (which may still be a reach) as most top Centers do not get drafted until the 3rd or later.

you could say that, but i think it's plausible that both G were trying to do too much because C was a hot mess

I don't see him being a tackle. I think he'd be a beast guard though. #13 may be a reach, but I wouldn't be that upset.

Where's he projected? Admittedly I havent looked at many if any mocks so far. La'el could certainly play guard imo and would be a great upgrade.

Pretty sure he's going to get paid this offseason.

I'd take Collins. Let him play G for a few years, then move over and take over for Strief then play out his final years as guard. I don't expect him to be an Pro Bowler, but I think he will be a solid pro for 10 12 years which is a need on every team.

Most projections have him in the first round between 18-25

7-20 depending where you look. It's likely he won't be there when we pick. He seems to be rising up mocks every time they're released.
