what's your definition of taking your time? you don't want to be rushed to 70 or you want to do each mission?

Do each mission and take the time to understand how the game works. I still don't understand most of the mechanics.

That's why I got the ps4 version to mess with.
Bl2 seems like a given. Although I never noticed before but damn it is fetch quest heavy

I don't mind if you want to take your time through it. I just hate the fact none of us will get end game gear despite dumping 100+ hours running at the highest difficulty.

i very rarely do the side quests in BL honestly. I'll do the main story and unlock the next difficulty do all the DLC and move on
