Move to 9-4 in SEC Play! Should win the next two minimum, but was a great turnaround. Should be NCAA Tournament bound. Give a lot of credit to this staff. Yes they still have a lot of work on the recruiting aspect. That can be fixed. As I watched the game tonight, you could see the coaches coaching their hearts out. Coach Perotti was out of his chair the entire game yelling and coaching up his players. Should be a terrific finish to the season.

Gonna be tough Jessica Jackson for Arky is a tough cover and OM is gonna want revenge. Win those two and we're a lock.

Softball: LSU 6, San Diego St 1. Does this mean Mainieri is a recruirter and Torina is a good coach? SB is undefeated.

Softball is on a roll, that and gymnastics are the only ones I wouldn't touch
I am anxious though to see who Caldwell hires after the season. She needs an ace recruiter. It be nice to have someone with ties to Texas as well. Have a lot of talent there.

The biggest turnaround for this team has been their defense as well as getting more people involved in the scoring. Moncrief and Ballard got theirs but there was also solid contribution from Harden, Bethel and Hill. All three of these next games are winnable. But none of them are a gimme. Winning two of the next three would go a looooooooooooong way towards getting in the NCAA tournament and possibly not having a double digit seeding.

I want a double digit seeding. I'd hate to see them get up to an 8/9 and then get waxed by say Uconn in the second round.

Those who did, still do. They just never show up until the next loss. She will never satisfy them for ingrained reasons.

What she has done with this team is a masterful coaching job. But check back after the next loss when the roaches come out.

Caldwell get a lot of criticism but she deserves a lot of credit as well. She did a tremendous job her first year here. She has been plagued by bad luck at LSU with untimely injuries. If we didn't lose Hughes her first year, we were the team to beat with Tennessee. Forthan was suppose to be an impact player and would have made a huge difference the past few years, decided to pursue modeling instead of basketball. Players like Jeanne Kenny and Moncrief, who were starters got injured in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. She has worked very well with a tight and less talented roster. She has brought in some big names such as Ballard, Moncrief, and Harden. X's and O's are without doubt a strong point, she knows what she is doing. The key for her is to bring in consistent top 25 classes. That is not an unreasonable expectation. Louisiana hasn't been producing as much talent like it has other years. So Caldwell needs to make a grand slam hire after the season. We need to add and ace recruiter on staff. I think if Caldwell has a little more talent, she can take this program a little further.

I find it funny that she and aleva get the criticism. However, when you look at who aleva has hired, her, jones, and torina. well, they are all succeeding.
