Is Germany the only European country that we have a base in?

I know the connection is between Jurgen (German) and players born of US Military/German Women decent, but don't we have another base in say France, Italy, etc?

A buddy of mine was stationed in Vicenza so I know we have at least some presence in Italy, not sure how it compares with Germany though, or France

It started before Juergen, though it wouldn't have happened to this extent without him.

I mean, we have bases in other European countries, but I'm going to assume that establishing and maintaining a post-WWII presence in West Germany was easier and more important than having a presence elsewhere

Don't we have one in one of the Benelux countries? I just remember seeing some school for children of American military personnel in Belgium or Netherlands or somewhere.

Or maybe I'm just retarded and that doesn't exist. Just as likely of a scenario.

We have 2 - AF in Morón and Navy Rota, both near Seville. There are also a few that have closed that may have some teenagers that are running around.

Here's a list all current bases.

I know that Earnie Stewart grew up in holland and his dad was in the military. It's crazy how many German Americans we have but there aren't any kids from Italy or Spain. I guess the Italians and Spanish don't like the brothas quite as much as German women do.

Germany is more prevalent because we have a disproportionate amount of soldiers there than in other foreign nations.
