Netflix doesn't have anything from HBO currently so they don't have the rights obviously. However, I believe Amazon Prime has Game of Thrones so why wouldn't Netflix purchase?
I watched S1 and S2 when I had HBO but I haven't watched since and I would love to catch back up.

Amazon prime has a lot of HBO shows, but not Game of Thrones.

I'd imagine it will eventually come to one or both services, but it might be 15 years.

HBO OnDemand doesn't even have it right now, presumably because of the DVD release.

Thought I might binge a few episodes this past weekend and was severely disappointed.

Doubtful. HBO is going to start doing standalone streaming in April that'll coincide with the new Game of Thrones season.

HBOgo is a direct competitor with Netflix

in what world do you live in to think this would be feasible

Anything is possible.

Except this.

Not really. Netflix has so much more content that I don't think HBOGO could really compete with it.

What I wanna know is why isn't HBOGo on PS4 like it is on Xbone or PS3.

The one thing they keeps HBOgo competitive is the content that Netflix cant get their hands on. That includes Game of Thrones

why would they give away the one thing that makes them viable

they can and they do they are fighting for the same viewers eyeballs and wallets and surviving with good exclusive content

their online catalogue would be completely useless if they gave those rights to Netflix which tduece is suggesting.

OK I thought HBO had amazon with it.
I loved when Netflix and Starz worked together and it was another reason to subscribe to Netflix. I would love to catch up without adding another website to subscribe to.
