On ESPN with NFL live a great ambassador for the NFL, LSU, and for all players and young guys, and of course Sickle Cell. He is a model man and great player.

Congrats on his retirement and when he said he came to LSU to get a degree, and how only one team gave him a contract out of LSU. Truly remarkable.

Thabk you Ryan from everyone at LSU!

Anybody have any good stories or favorite moments from his career feel free to share. When I was really young I met him at Brew Bachers and he was one of the nicest players I have ever met.

I see him often, both our boys are same age and play basketball, he is absolutely one of the nicest people I have ever met.

The sooner they get him on staff, the better imo...

I do love that it's a goal of his one day

Great Tiger and great representative for LSU.

Didn't hear his future plans but would love to see him get into coaching (for LSU, of course).

Best wishes and God bless.

Ryan was in my speech class at LSU. Cool guy. I remember going to games back when he played for the Tigers. Because I kind of knew him from class, I would always pay special attention to him on defense. I'm no coach but I always thought he was phenomenal. Dude always seemed to be everywhere on the field. Funny thing is, and maybe im wrong...but I don't really remember him being talked about much at LSU. And he ends up probably being LSU's best safety to play in the NFL.

All class.. I remember him playing at LSU and it really doesn't seem like 13 years ago.. He has a great career here at LSU and in the NFL and is one great representative of our fine university
