quote:

In August 1922, in a case that would attract national attention, members of the Ku Klux Klan abducted two white men--Filmore Watt Daniel and Thomas Fletcher Richard--in Mer Rouge. After torturing and killing the men, the Klansmen disposed of their bodies in nearby Lake Lafourche. Following the killings, Louisiana Governor John M. Parker sought help from the U.S. Department of Justice in suppressing Klan violence within the state.[2] There is a hill that serves as a boundary between Mer Rouge and Bastrop, named Red Hill. The name Mer Rouge was named by its founder, Davenport, naming it after the red wavy soil of the hill.

They chunked em in the lake on the back of my property. Cut their nuts off and stuffed em in their mouth before they killed them. All for frolicking with the black poon.

Dyatlov Pass incident

quote:

An examination of the four bodies which were found in May shifted the narrative as to what had occurred during the incident. Three of the ski hikers had fatal injuries: Thibeaux-Brignolles[citation needed] had major skull damage, and both Dubinina and Zolotarev had major chest fractures. According to Dr. Boris Vozrozhdenny, the force required to cause such damage would have been extremely high, comparing it to the force of a car crash. Notably, the bodies had no external wounds related to the bone fractures, as if they had been subjected to a high level of pressure. However, major external injuries were found on Dubinina, who was missing her tongue, eyes, part of the lips, as well as facial tissue and a fragment of skullbone;[3] she also had extensive skin maceration on the hands.

It's scary and interesting as hell reading the speculation on the net about it. There are also pictures if you google.

Annie Laurie Herrin

Quote: 'On August 15, he received a letter in her handwriting postmarked Atlanta, Georgia. The letter said "Bob, if you don't do what these people want you to do, they're going to seal me up in the cellar of this house with only a few jugs of water. Please save me. Annie Laurie."

My father in law knows this family well and worked for the husband at one point. They are from Jackson. He has told me this story 100 times.

He thinks she died shortly after kidnapping because she had really bad medical issues and they didn't take any of her medications.

It's one of the creepier stories. I kinda think about her being sealed up in a cellar somewhere in the 80's. Freaky stuff.

Here's another link on it:

I've read about a lot of these before, and I love Wikipedia mining. I've read so many articles about serial killers and things like that.

Albert Fish is truly evil personified IMO. I've read all about him and watched a documentary about him before. It's crazy. HH Holmes is another one (see below).

Here are some I'll add:

Keddie cabin murders (The Strangers was partly based on this incident)

John Titor (man claims to be from the future...great troll)

HH Holmes (Chicago World's Fair serial killer who owned a hotel that he built that was designed for murder and torture)

DB Cooper (most know about this from American lore, but if not, it's incredibly interesting...about an unknown plane hijacker)

Also, Cracked articles would be good in this kind of thread.
