Actually....your both wrong. Evangel is the main reason (JC was another reason) that we have the split....evangel in the 90s had 1A and 2A enrollment and played up to 5A where they beat the breaks off EVERY public or private school....then LHSAA got tired of complaints and sent ECA back to 1A....which is where the Calvary and evangel split happened. Since then evangel has been going down while Calvary is on the rise. JC is another reason but they didn't dominate 5A like evangel. They dominated 3A or 4A I believe with 1A enrollment. If not for evangel West Monroe would have about 8-9 more championships and even JC would have a couple more as well.

Close, but not quite. Evangel learned from JC, they avoided each other in classification. Kinda started with JC. Of course all the recruiting stuff started long before that at Neville, where most of our local legends learned it, truth

They may have "started" it but I can promise you the split wasn't even in the equation until ECA a little 1A school showed up and started beating all the big 5A schools and then going outside of Louisiana and winning against national powers while still only 1A enrollment....which is I believe 100-200 kids in high school and were beating schools with 1000s of kids. Neville is good but go outside Louisiana and everyone knows 3 teams west monroe, JC, and ECA.

So you're saying that a school which was formed as a football school actually became a good football program? Thanks dude. MIT produces top knotch engineers

GPA is meaningless. It's standardized tests. ACT, SAT. Calvary sucks. Their mommies and their daddies give them A's for showing up. Same thing with majority black HS like Green Oaks, Fair Park, BTW, Woodlawn.
On ACT and SAT they all suck.

I know that public schools must release this information but private doesn't. So what's your source for Calvary?
