Loomis to make and ideal cap for. I would say Justin Houston would be huge but I just don't see it happening so here is four I could see.
1.Bryon maxwell Seattle corner
2.Pernell Mcphee lolb ravens
3.Ray rice ex ravens
4. Henry Melton DT cowboys.

Wouldn't mind this guy in our D-line rotation. Solid player with a few good years still ahead. Not sure what kind of money he will be looking for though.

Edit: Assuming he can smoothly transition from a 4-3 to a 3-4.

He was in a 4-3 his entire time in Chicago and Dallas was a 4-3 last year

We play a lot of 4 DL lineups. Melton would be fine in our system. He had 5 sacks in 440 snaps last season, which is excellent for an interior lineman. He's supposedly a bit of a locker room turd, though, and will be pricey.

Saints don't really play the 3-4 so much as it is a hybrid front line. I would love Melton but there is no way we land Maxwell, he's fixing to get paid. Though, I did say the same thing about Byrd last year.

What about Mcphee? I don't know much about him but Baltimore does run a 3-4 right?

Very valid points about our 3-4/4-3 hybrid. Either way I feel like we need to bring in a proven DLineman who can get into the backfield and compete with/motivate the guys we already have. We have plenty of talent on the line, I just didn't see the same intensity last year compared to the year before last.
