To watch tonight. Either on appletv to rent, amazon prime or netflix.
Preferred genre is thriller. And I've seen Gone Girl but wife wants to watch something similar. Thanks!

it's slightly over a year, it came out November 2013 or so, but Prisoners fits that bill.

The Guest
Blue Ruin
Nightcrawler
The Drop
Coherence (scyfy but extremely thrilling)
Borgman (my favorite of the bunch, but subtitled. Similar to Funny Games)

Damn. I heard it was good, but favorite? I don't like tons of action. Would I like it? It's on HBO-GO, so I've almost checked it out a couple of times.

Really. I waited to redbox it and I regret not seeing it in a theatre. And I'm not a Tom Cruise fan.

Is it tons of explosions and conveniently terrible shooting by the antagonists? I need to know.

Okay. I might be able to survive. I will literally fall asleep if a movie has too much action without dialogue.

I very recently watched Edge of Tomorrow also and somewhat enjoyed it. It was sort of like a combo of Matrix and Groundhog Day.
