I-10 West is about to close at the I-10/I-12 Merge to offload a tractor trailer so they can then remove the vehicle.

Be prepared.

EDIT: Attempting to off load without closing interstate.

There has to be a better way. Maybe we can spend some loop study money on a fleet of helicopters that can pick up a wrecked 18-wheeler and dump it in the river in 5 minutes or less.

Going West, it's the merge.

ETA: Colonels beat me to it.

They have begun off loading the truck and so far there has not been any need to block all lanes.

Congestion still holding at Mall of Louisiana Boulevard.

Truck is full of acid and is sitting partially in the right lane.

Just saw the truck on WBRZ - trailer collapsed in the middle and is loaded with hazmat chemicals. Right lane on 10W is closed, right lane on 12W is closed right at the split.

Enjoy your commute this evening!
