When I was in Covington the other day I noticed that they still had a movie rental place that was open. My mind was blown.

I use to get cheap movies from there from time to time. Usually had a decent crowd in there. Ill still buy CDs because of sound quality.

They have a pretty good selection of used DVDs/CDs for low prices. But every time I've been in there, there weren't but a handful of customers. I'm also wondering if they're paying a low rent on the place or if they don't just own the building outright.
It may be the only stand-alone place in Baton Rouge to buy CDs and DVDs. (There are a few good record stores in town, but they concentrate on vinyl.) The CD/DVD selections at other stores don't have all that FYE has.

The movie selection caters to movies that can't be found at walmart or even best buy. Such as Anime, Horror, and Cult Classics

Anyone who still buys CD's (They do sound better than Mp3's)

They are a Ticketmaster dealer, so you can get concert/ event tickets there.

It's the only one left in Louisiana.

That's about all I have. Can't wait for the going out of business sale tho.

They have a lot of offbeat crap that you can only find online or in places like GameStop...anime stuff, gaming fan merchandise, things like that.

We go there sometimes looking for DVDs, and my kids love the anime, Dr.Who, & Minecraft sections. It's a geek's paradise. I actually bought a bunch of Christmas presents from there.
