Looking to book a three night trip. Any recommendations on condos? Looked at VRBO, must have a million on there! Overwhelming! Want gulf side condo with at least 2 bedrooms. Wife and 2 kids, 10&8. Is it any real difference between gulf shores and orange beach. I haven't been that way in at least 8 years.

So... it worked?

J/k that how we found ours and we were more than pleased. Saved a bunch of money too.

Not sure how many condos will come furnished with a wife and 2 kids aged 8 and 10. You tried looking in Mexico?

I used to love the sunsuite that my ex and I used to stay in in Gulf Shores Plantation, but that is obviously small and not for a family.

You can't go wrong with the Phoenix chain though. Stayed at the West a few months ago and it was super nice.

My family has condos in the Phoenix West and 8.

West-newer, bigger, lazy river, not enough elevators on busy weekends, short walk to the beach, covered parking and more expensive.

8-older, smaller pools, bbq area is easy access and by the pools, boardwalk is as long as the Causeway and cheaper.

I prefer the 8 because its smaller and less crowded.

If you don't mind spending a bit more go with the Turquoise Place. It blows Phoenix out of the water.
