Stay as close to King St. as you can. The amount of hot coeds is absolutely insane.

Got a place right off it. Our other choice in dates is April 30- May 3. That weekend is their weekend before finals so not sure how that would be

Will you guys have a car? If not, may be worth renting one and staying out at Sullivans. You can cab it, but its probably more cost effective to just rent something.

As far as going out, I'd do one night at Shem Creek, it's a little geared more towards our age group (I'm 30). Downtown is always a good time, as well. Hit up Tommy Condon's for some awesome live Irish Music, it's one of my favorite spots.

Graduation weekend will be fine, probably fun to go out. That being said, hotels will book quickly. I believe the Citadel (my alma mater) graduates the weekend before.

We stayed with friends in a house not more than a 5 minute walk to King St. Great area to bar hop.

How do you think that weekend of April 30-May 3 would be? It is CoC weekend before finals, so a little hesitant

I don't think there are bad weekends in the spring. I would avoid the 1st weekend of April (I think) because its the bridge run, people everywhere.

I've been to both quite a good bit (Savannah and Charleston). Savannah is just more fun in my opinion. It has better nightlife. Charleston has better restaurants. Savannah has better drinking. Charleston is a better place for a family vacation. Savannah is a better place for a bachelor party.

Both places would make for a great bachelor party, but in my opinion, the only aspect in which Savannah is better than Charleston is the open container law. I love Savannah and have been going there since I was a kid, but Charleston is definitely the better place for a bachelor party of an upper-20's group.

Charleston is certainly more expensive, but the bars are better, the restaurants are better, the proximity to the beaches/golf courses are better, and the sights are better. You're getting more for what you pay IMO. Savannah offers many of the same things that Charleston does, but what I've learned is that Savannah has more of a sketchy crowd - from the homeless to the tatted artsy crowd. It's one of the negatives of having an art school as the prominent college in town.

I will say this, however, your earlier recommendation for Chicago is on fricking point. I was there for a bachelor party last June and it was the most fun I've ever had in a weekend. Wrigleyville, the beach, the food, the girls - everything about Chicago is awesome. Go there, OP.

Come weekend of March 28 and spend Saturday in Camden at the Carolina Cup Horse Race. Biggest party in SC for the year. As good as any SEC football game tailgate scene, really good time.

If these things weigh heavily on your decision then there is no other option than Charleston.

It's our anniversary weekend or I would be more than happy to show you around, if Shem creek hasn't been mentioned you need to check that out. Reds ice house is one of, If not the best hangout in charleston.

Easiest will be Patriots Point right over the bridge. Should be in decent shape, but haven't played in a few years.

Stono Ferry, Rivertowne and Bulls Bay are also all fine.

Either weekend will be fine. I always remembered (or didn't remember actually due to blackouts) partying the hardest the week before graduation while at CofC. Most of those sluts are communications or poli sci majors so it's not like they're studying anything too complicated.

Make sure you check out Sullivans Island during the day and hit up Poe's or Taco Mamacitas. There are also a bunch of really nice new bars that have opened up just off of King St that you should take a look at such as The Warehouse. Edmunds Oast (just up Morrison a few miles) is one of the best places in the US to get craft beers, along with my favorite Mexican place on Earth just down the street from it named Santis.
