Calipari Tweet stirs up fans on eve of LSU game

quote:

Calipari hasn't talked specifically about his mystery illness, and when asked about it on Monday, he said, “I don't have any sense right now. It's just, I was like (looking at) the training sheet which says he can go limited today, which is the first time. So, I'll see him today. Don't know if he's going to travel yet. If I don't think we're going to use him or he won't play in the game, I probably won't have him travel.”

Then the team's charter lands in Baton Rouge, and Calipari Tweets, “I thought Trey got on plane but we can't find him.”

An hour or so later, he Tweets, “Has anyone in Lexington seen Trey? If anyone sees him, please let us know. #WhereIsTrey”

It let him throw a touch of misdirection out there on the eve of the team's game Tuesday at LSU.

Seems Cal is pretty comfy with his team's chances tonight with or without Lyles. Enough to joke about it, anyway.

I think his tweets have been childish and ridiculous. Been fighting with my UK buddy about it. It's cryptic and unprofessional in my opinion. Maybe it's just my extreme hate and distaste for the man. Maybe I'm being too hard on him on his birthday, but I hope we put him in his place.

Exactly how it struck me. Just so unnecessary. I mean, what good can come of it?

That is some textbook trolling with that fanbase.

I like Coach Cal, mostly because I live in Lex so I kinda have to, but its a shitty joke if you ask me. I think he gets caught up in the media's words more than his players do.

especially not lyles..he hasn't played a game in a couple of weeks regardless of whether he plays or not, he will be out and he isn't vital to their success

3 separate joke tweets over a 12 hour span saying they cant find a kid??

I'm sorry but that's extremely unprofessional.

Can't wait to see how many times Calipari crosses the 3 point line to push one of his players into position..and gets away with it.

Cal tweeted he did make the trip and is questionable for tonight. According to some UK guys that means he'll probably play.

I liked Cal joking about it... it's a long season under more intense focus than anybody. Let him have some fun with the fanbase...

Yeah, if he wasn't going to play they would have left him in Kentucky to keep recovering. Probably a good shot of seeing him on the court but could be a little rusty or fatigued after being and sick and not practicing
