Which college basketball game is the best? overall Gameplay and deepest Career mode? TIA

I don't know about career mode. If you want the smoothest playing, I would say College Hoops 2k8. Somebody is still making rosters for this game also.
Last year, I downloaded a file with LSU's 2014 Roster. To download it you will have to use a flash drive or external hard drive and transfer it to the PS3. You can find out how on operation sports.

NCAA basketball 10 was a good game as well, online features have been shut down though.

College Hoops 2K8 is the best college basketball game out there. I wish I could port it over to PS4 and play it on there, but I can't
