People probably shouldn't believe everything these recruiting sites post....Sean Patterson is still at LSU and has not been hired by ole miss

LINK /

Just cause it says "yet" doesn't mean he is leaving anytime soon.

Most people beleive he is all but gone. We all know Shea is going where his brother is. I know the Patterson family holds LSU to a very high regard from what I've read and I only hope they value this opportunity greater than all the others. If they do jump ship it definitely reeks of shadiness!

Y'all need to ease up off this dude's ballsack. Y'all some pathetic folks if y'all think that this dude or his bro holds LSU's fate in their hands. Yes, I'll enjoy banland. Bring it.

I can't believe we are at a time where we could lose to ole miss in anything.

Maybe the staff knows more than the "recruiting insiders" and understand the situation far more than the rest of us. We've got a pretty damn good prospect committed already.

Given the choice, I'll take the #1 qb in the nation who happens to be from LOUISIANA who also threw for 26 more touchdowns the past two years thank you very much!

So LSU just outta the blue offers a 3rd nationally rated QB? Without suspecting that Franks or Patterson aint bolting?

You really think theyre gonna sign 3 in one year when they havent signed 3 in 5 years?

I aint buying it

He's actually from Texas, just moved to LA a couple of years ago and has no loyalty.

Actually your wrong....he lived in Texas for only a couple years and then moved to Louisiana. No loyalty? Besides all his friends being LSU fans. The kid he hangs out with most is Sam Burns (#1 junior golfer in the US) who is committed to LSU. He's lived in Louisiana for 2 1/2 years where it's nothing but LSU. He's been to more LSU games than any other school that recruits him. An nobody thinks he holds the fate of LSU in his hands....it's LSU we will be fine like we always have been but when a 5* QB is in our backyard and we don't get him it's got a lot of negatives. Your probably one of the guys on franks dick which is why you dislike Patterson so much. Anyone who wants to come on here and whine about franks not getting enough threads can go start your "franks appreciation" threads and let the people who actually want Patterson in P&G talk on here thanks

Here's an old link, may explain some things.

LINK

quote:

Growing up in Toledo, current Shreveport (La.) resident and star quarterback Shea Patterson is pretty familiar with Ohio State.

"I always liked (Ohio State) growing up," Patterson told Eleven Warriors. "Everyone in my family liked Michigan. We moved from Toledo when I was 12."

Patterson, who is a verbal commitment to the University of Arizona (and has been since December of 2012,) is the nation's second-ranked pro-style quarterback in the class of 2016, but don't let the label fool you; he's no statue in the pocket. Arizona notwithstanding, the talented signal-caller has a host of very impressive scholarship offers in his back pocket.

"My latest offers are Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, and Ole Miss," he said about his recent additions. "(Recruiting) has been going really well. I've had a lot of coaches come in this spring. (Ohio State) is actually the one school I'm interested in that hasn't been in touch."

quote:

Patterson's game is mature for his age, and much of that comes from his background and family life. His father has been a coach and his brother, Sean Patterson, was a three-year starting quarterback for Duquesne. He's now a graduate assistant in Tucson, assisting Rich Rodriguez's high-powered offense. The younger Patterson makes no bones about it, he's looking forward to playing at the school where his brother roams the sidelines.

"I really want to play where my brother is on the staff, and right now he's a GA at Arizona. He taught me everything I know and he's my role model," Patterson said of his brother.

What the hell is wrong with Shea that he would follow his brother wherever?

Geez. I'm to the point where I do not want if he is living for his brother.

If I was a student and loved LSU, I would tell my brother to GFH if he thought I would follow his sorry arse around.

Either he p bed LSU or he doesn't. If not, good riddance.

Agreed.

And I don't know why they are giving up so fricking easily. Geeeezum his recruiting has just heated up and people are giving up.. It is wonderful Franks is committed here, but why treat Shea any different from any other recruit we haven't locked up? He is a top talent at a position of need and we've been on for quite some time with a year left.. and people already giving up. LOL. Pussy mentality. Even if Sean went there, he could hate living there.. he could still leave at the end of the season and even come back.. but regardless let the man have his recruiting moment. Don't give up so easily to freaking Ole Miss..

I absolutely want Patterson at LSU.

Sounds like a preference to me. Plus, when did he say this? Age 16?

At the end of the day it's still going to be where he feels most comfortable and LSU can make him feel that way. He and his family have a lot of admiration for Coach Cam Cameron.

There is no reason for people to just throw in the towel so easily. He is a top need at a top position.
