I just started getting it last year and it comes and goes. Has flared up pretty good the last few weeks. Any of yall have some good home remedies? I don't have the plaque type so it's not horrible.

I get it on my elbows and have found the Neosporin Eczema lotion works pretty well

if itching is a problem the inside of a banana peel helps

Mines not bad and I don't use anything anywhere except for my scalp which I use T-Gel on. I have done prescription shampoo before but the T-Gel is just as good. I used creams growing up on like ankles and knees but I just really don't need it in those areas.
The shitty thing is that I have to deal with white flakes and shite and it's not dandruff but it sometimes looks like it which is embarrassing.

Those UV lizard lamps help. No shite. My wife has it. She took all kinds of crap from the dermatologist, short of the immune suppression stuff. Trips to the tanning bed for 5 minutes in the lizard lamp have done wonders and it's way cheaper than the one at the dermatologist's office.

I have had it since my mid-20's and it's gotten progressively worse. I've tried a lot of home remedies but nothing did the trick. Salt baths help and sunlight DEFINITELY helps but not enough. I recently started taking Humira shots every other week and it has really helped a lot. It cleared 95% of the P.
My favorite aspect is that Humira has the added benefit of reducing my overall inflammation. I used to ache so much in the morning and now it's much better. Of course now I'm paranoid that I'm going to die of cancer or some shite because of the Humira.
People don't realize how frustrating psoriasis can be and how many other problems can come along with it. I don't really know anyone else my age (late 30's) with it but I wish I did. I have two infant children and I sure hope they don't have it.

I developed it in 1997 after an angioplasty and an allergic reaction to a drug that shut down my immune system. I started Humira in August 2013. It cleared up almost all of it in a matter of a few months.

I have RA and take Methotrexate for it. Makes me scared of every person I see coughing. Having to miss a week's treatment, especially in the winter, is a bitch and means a week of pain.

I have it on my elbows...thankfully, it is not plaque psoriasis adn just flares every once in a while. I typically try to get some sun on it when it flares up and just let it run its course...actually, a good number of folks have it but just don't talk about it much....
I have a relative who was on enbrel until they tried a laser beam on her and it is now completely controlled...
damn strange and debilitating condition sometimes...

I have a spray from the dermatolgist. Cortizone injections seem to be best, but it tends to pop up elsewhere. Thankfully mine is not too horrible, just a few spots.

Tanning bed or sunlight is my remedy.

Thelma and sunlight. Watch the elbows and finger nails. If you get an infection go to doctor. He a recurring one in my bursa sac last year that almost killed me with staff. Bad stuff.
