This is the Christmas special. Just looking at the costumes of Freeman and Cumberbatch, as well as those who appear to be filming with them, it looks as though the special will somehow take place in the 19th Century.

Ugh. Seasons 1-2 were so good and 3 was so bad. They need to stop and not ruin it.

I liked pretty much all of three up to the stupid reveal of where the bad guy kept his blackmail info and I wasn't happy with the Moriarty nonsense.

The entire wedding episode was unnecessary bullshite filler with a ridiculously weak ending. It was like a goddamn Scooby Doo episode.

Yeah, I liked it too. I thought the way all of the cases in his speech ended up all being tied to the current situation. And I loved how it portrayed him putting it all together in his head as he went along with his speech. It also gave the precedent for Sherlock to be willing to sacrifice himself for Watson and his wife in the last episode (which I think also proves that he really isn't a sociopath).

His speech was great. It started off really badly, but knocked it out of the park after that. Also, I really like the Sherlock/Mary dynamic.
